Debauchery and Cotton Candy on the Cabaret Scene

(MONTREAL, QC): New cabaret mixes sexuality and silliness; bringing some much needed spunk into Montreal's club scene.

The Coral Lees are a cabaret troupe inspired by the fabulous performers of yesteryear, incorporating pop and punk influences for a post modern take on classic burlesque.

Adult Internet stars Seska and Elsa decided it was time to bring fun and sass to erotic performing and formed the troupe. With years of experience in the adult industry, their instincts tell them the time is right to reinvent what sexy and titillating entertainment is supposed to be. Feeling that stripping has lost its tease and full frontal has become blasé, they have set out to create something fresh. This is bump and grind for a new generation.

"We are not your grandfather's burlesque and certainly not your father's striptease", says Coral Lees co-founder Seska. "We want to deconstruct the status quo of sexual fantasy and at the same time have fun with it".

The Coral Lees will have their first live performance on October 22nd, at Foufounes Electriques, on 87 Ste-Catherine East at 9:30PM. For more information, visit them on the web at www.corallees.com.

Performances for the October 22nd Show include a Showdown at the XXX Corral, Blowing the Bugle Boy, the Latex Drag Queen, the Official Coral Lees Condom and Candy Girl (with all proceeds for sales of her sweet treats going to Montreal's Coalition for the Rights of Sex Workers), and the one and only master of ceremonies Colonel Dom.

Inspired by the classics, recycled by geeks. The Coral Lees bring some sexual pastiche to the Montreal scene with their smutty and sassy cabaret stylings.
